Flóra Merész
Legal Intern
Flóra Merész is a Public International Law LL.M. candidate at Leiden University. She recently graduated from Leiden University College, where she majored in International Justice. Additionally, she completed an Erasmus+ semester at Sciences Po to deepen her understanding of international relations. Her main research interests lie at the intersection of International Human Rights, Humanitarian and Criminal law. Flóra is especially interested in the use of military AI, and its impact on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, a topic on which she has been conducting extensive research for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis. In the future, she aspires to combine legal research with practical relevance for victims of international crimes and human rights violations, particularly in the context of armed conflict.
