Akaki Beridze graduated at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University at the Public International Law faculty, holds an LLM in Public International Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law, an LLM in Rule of Law for Development at Loyola University Chicago, and he is currently working on his PHD in Climate Change and International Law.

He is an experienced public servant in Georgia, having worked as Legal Adviser on EU and International Law at the Legal affairs committee of the Parliament; Adviser in the Energy Law and International Law Treaty section, at the Ministry of Economic and Sustainable Development; and currently serves as International Law Adviser at the Central Election Administration of Georgia.

He teaches international law, environmental law, EU law, and human rights at the International Black Sea University (IBSU), Batumi State Maritime Academy, and various other institutions in Georgia.
