Lucas Sánchez is a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, where he is currently completing his PhD project on the remedial practice of regional human rights courts. He previously obtained a law degree from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in Barcelona, and an LL.M degree from the Universität Heidelberg, in Germany. He is a registered lawyer in the Barcelona Bar Association. During the last years, he has conducted professional visits both at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights. Lucas is currently also a visiting lecturer at the Université Catholique de Lille, in France.
