Dr. Lukas Ley teaches anthropology at the Institute of Anthropology, Heidelberg University, and works as assistant editor for the journal Social Anthropology. His research is broadly concerned with urban marginalization, temporality, and the material environment within post-colonial urban landscapes. He studied in Germany, France, and Canada and received his PhD in Anthropology in 2017. He speaks English, German, French, and Bahasa Indonesia.
