Fitri has been working as a woman human rights defender, migrant workers defender, and researcher since 2017, collaborating with various Non-Governmental Organizations in the Southeast Asia and East Asia regions. She completed her Master of Arts in Social Studies (with a focus on Civil Society Leadership) at Ajou University in the Republic of Korea in February 2024, supported by a full scholarship from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). She possesses strong skills in analysis, research, and providing legal opinions on human rights and democracy within the Southeast Asia and East Asia regions. She has an understanding of international human rights law, the UN Human Rights Mechanism, international politics, human rights research, advocacy, and monitoring. She has a deep willingness and passion to contribute to the protection and fulfillment of women’s human rights, migrants’ rights, human rights, and democracy.
