Manuela Baiker obtained her law degree in Germany, specialising in Public International Law and European Union Law. Additionally, she holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA).

Prior to joining Just Access e.V., Manuela was a trainee lawyer, completing placements at the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Independent National Rapporteur Mechanism on Trafficking in Human Beings at the German Institute for Human Rights. She is passionate about women’s rights, and additionally focused on the protection of human rights defenders during her internship at the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT).
